The WYS Platform's connectivity portfolio has expanded again. Now there is also a data-based connection to the Salto KS access control solution, which can be connected to the same entity with other security and automation systems. The Platform can use the data produced by Salto KS together with the data produced by the other systems connected to the Platform.
With the help of the WYS Platform, the Salto KS access control solution's real-time status information about the doors and the devices in the door environment, such as the door controller (IQ), can be presented in different ways, e.g. visualized, so that the essential information can be seen quickly at a glance, even if there are many sites.
The WYS Platform automatically creates usage profiles for the systems and devices connected to the Platform. With the help of the usage profiles, the Platform automatically learns to recognize deviations from the normal operation of the systems and devices.
Alarms, events and faults do not go unnoticed, as both specified events and abnormal different real-time events are automatically and immediately visible, e.g. as pop-up notifications.
The Platform automatically creates a versatile and real-time system and device register, which offers a comprehensive view of all the systems and devices connected to the WYS Platform, while being with its extensive information, e.g. an automatic and real-time inventory.
Searching for the diverse events produced by the Salto KS access control solution using various criteria on the Platform speeds up information retrieval. The criteria include e.g.
- Person
- Access allowed / denied
- Date and time
- Doors / Area / Floor.
Using the same criteria, it is also possible to search for information from other access control systems connected to the Platform and consolidate the data into a single entity.
From the data produced by the Salto KS access control solution, the Platform automatically prepares comprehensive BI reports on access events, use of access rights, both access entries and access attempts, dwell times, fault notifications and door usage count. The versatile BI reports offer, for example, a TOP listing of the access attempts or comparisons of the fault notifications from different sites. You can see the use of the access rights of the pod groups of the Salto KS access control solution and compare, for example, the deviations or event volumes produced by the different pod groups.
The WYS Platform offers a versatile and automatic situational awareness by combining the data produced by the various systems and devices at the sites depending on the situation. In this way, for example, different trends and deviations in access events are identified and the utilization rates of different facilities at different sites are visualized and compared, which helps to optimize the maintenance of the facilities and the efficiency of use.
With the eMap of the WYS Platform, you can visualize a person's movement either in real time or over a certain period. By visualizing a person's location information, you locate people quickly and easily. With the use of tags, you can visualize a person's movement history on the eMap.
With the help of the Platform, you keep the data and events of the Salto KS access control solution throughout the life cycle of the Platform. You can adjust the data storage period according to your needs. This ensures that all important information is always available and safe. Data from other systems can also be automatically attached to event information, e.g. video footage or individual images.
